Our offices offer complete eye care, from initial examination to delicate eye surgery. Stop in today!

Among the wide range of services we offer our patients are:

>Comprehensive eye health and vision examinations are provided by the Center’s staff optometrists and ophthalmologists. Refractive services, provision of corrective eyewear, low vision aids, and treatment and management of eye diseases are available to residents of all ages.

>Low vision rehabilitation services, in conjunction with the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and the Lions Club International Foundation, are provided for patients with impaired vision due to glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, macular degeneration and other diseases.

>Sight for Seniors Program, with support from Camden County and Camden City Community Block Grant Programs, provides reduced fee and free eye care services to low income and uninsured seniors.

>Sight First for Kids Program provides hundreds of Camden City and South Jersey children free eye health and vision care services including eye examinations and corrective eye wear as needed. Students are often referred to the program through school nurses.

Mobile Vision Clinic

The Mobile Vision Clinic is a fully equipped mobile clinic. It travels throughout the region to health fairs, special events, schools, community organizations, faith-based organizations, governmental programs and corporate health programs providing eye health and vision services to all community residents


Financial Policies and Insurance

Our goal is to provide superior eye care services at reasonable cost. In order to do this, we require that all fees be paid at the time of service.

Orders placed for eyeglasses, contacts, and optical products must be paid in full before they can be ordered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover, as well as cash and checks.   If we are participating providers with your insurance company, we will submit the charges for you. All copays and unmet deductibles are your responsibility, however, and are to be paid when services are rendered.

If your insurance provider is not listed, we will supply you with the necessary documentation to submit for reimbursement.  Our business staff is well trained in insurance matters and will be pleased to assist with any questions you might have.

South Jersey Eye Center accepts most insurances. Please contact our receptionist to see if your plan is included. If you cannot afford an exam or eye wear, grant programs are available. Please let the receptionist know you are will be applying for a grant program at the time you schedule your appointment.


Patient Services Portal

South Jersey Eye Center offers patient portal access. This provides a secure way to access your medical records and communicate with your doctor.

Your Patient Services specialist will help you create an online login and password at your next appointment.
